Fowlmere is a small rural village at the very southern edge of Cambridgeshire, close to the borders of both Hertfordshire and Essex.

Parish Councils are about making small but worthwhile improvements to our villages. We could very easily be called a Village Council or a Community Council. We can't change the world but we do strive to make Fowlmere a better place to live, work and play. The by-election for the vacancy on Fowlmere Parish Council has been declared by SCDC with Jack Lester elected to the Council

Don’t Forget your voter ID

The by-election for the parish council vacancy takes place on Thursday 13th August. The polling place is the Village Hall and is open 7am - 10pm. Please remember to take your voter ID to be able to cast your vote.

Active Travel Consultation Reports Published

The Reports in to the Active Travel Consultations on Fowlmere Road (between Fowlmere and Foxton) and Mill Road/Fowlmere Road (between Fowlmere and Melbourn via the RSPB) have been published showing strong support on both routes for Active Travel improvements.
